Farmi CR47

CR47 is an efficient and light high-performance crane. The crane range is 6.9 m, gross lifting moment 46 kNm and turning force 12 kNm. The crane’s lifting capacity is 4 m / 840 kg, 450 kg at the maximum extent. 85% of SSAB’s Stenx high strength steel has been used on the booms. A robust die cast gear house. The oil drain cap makes maintenance easy. Standard equipment includes welded installation sockets for a crane winch and electrically controlled valve on the side of the crane boom. The crane’s standard equipment also includes a lift cylinder cover. Adjustable extension slide pieces.

This wood crane was has a very low design – the crane’s height from the crane flange to the elevation joint is only 1,300 mm. Combining the CR47 wood crane with the FARMI log trailer enables you to maintain low height for the entire machine solution; for instance, the height of a FT9+CR47 combo is just 262 cm. The low height ensures a low centre of gravity and balanced operation, whether the machine is empty or loaded.

The PTK021 grapple has an efficient and functional design. The flanged model rotator enables providing protection to the grapple hoses. The grapple penetrates stacks efficiently and does not turn the final logs to a grid formation. The grapple and pins are made of specially manufactured steel. Thanks to the grapple’s reinforced jaws, it can also be used for handling stones.

The wood crane has flap down legs with a three-point hitch. The flap down legs create a sturdy basis for using the crane when the legs are in the downward position. An appropriate leg structure and the legs’ long head board provide excellent stability during tilting. There are cylinder covers on both sides of the legs. Bidirectional lock valves. All cranes have the same 175 mm x 175 mm bolt pattern in the slewing unit.
